I have personally found that web advertising can only get your website so far. Even with basic SEO I was able to move my website from the second page of Google to half way up the first page. The increase in organic traffic and in turn sales was noticeable.

Sure you need your site to be listed on top of Google search because as you said “Everyone Googles”.. Otherwise your competitor gains the upper hand. SO SEO IS A MUST.

I agree completely, SEO is the most important factor in online advertising now. more and more people are learning to ignore banner advertising, and a simple Google search is how the world finds its information, so getting up there is very important.
